Great talk by Amal Mattu to EM UofT. 1) STEMI criteria misses many Acute Coronary Occlusions. 2) Stephen W. Smith’s Modified Sgarbossa Criteria can identify ACO in LBBB and ventricular paced rhythms. 3) RBBB produces anterior STD so ACO can produce relative STE that is STEMI(-)

We are so disheartened to see protests outside hospitals today. Hospitals are supposed to be safe zones for the staff working there and the patients seeking care.
