A fantastic visit to Lauriston Castle today by Invisible Cities #Edinburgh . A tour with Niamh, a cracking communal lunch and Batik art with Margaret. Thanks so much for visiting and come back very soon. Sorry the sun didn't shine!

All this #Edinburgh rain can't dampen the spirit of the Writers' Museum. Open daily 10am until 5pm.

We simply could not pass on the musical theme on today's #OnlineArtExchange without sharing the hauntingly beautiful 'Spring Moonlight' by John Henry Lorimer from our friends Kirkcaldy Galleries. The interior of Kellie Castle is always exquisitely depicted by Lorimer.
The rain has seen off the last of the spring crocuses at the Scott Monument. Until next spring.....

This week's Art UK #OnlineArtExchange theme is #Music in art. We've chosen John Copley's 'Chamber Music' from MCR Art Gallery.
These musical and lyrical hands are a symphony in themselves. The perspective and juxtaposition of musicians is just wonderful.
