A paper we begun at the 2022 outbreak of the Russian war in Ukraine has been published morning. We found very limited evidence of work in this area which, as we know, is an increasing area of need. Consideration of transferability of interventions to conflict zone is much needed!

I am absolutely flabbergasted to have been awarded an AHAwards💙 for driving forward research in #dramatherapy last week. It was a simply wonderful afternoon and I was blown away by the other shortlisted candidates and projects. What an honour to be amongst them! ✨

Today in our unit seminar we heard from Ellie Keiller, a dramatherapist and PhD student, who is researching dramatherapy for children & young people with anxiety depression and trauma. Ellie updated us on her progress so far and shared an exciting study she is currently running!

An Edge Hill University-led children's mental health project has won £2.5m from UK Research and Innovation, one of the largest research grants of its kind. The Arts4Us collaboration will bring arts therapies together in one digital platform, helping young people find better support: ehu.ac.uk/7hg
