Fourteen-year-old Max Dowman starts for Arsenal’s under-18s today off the back of a fantastic England under-16 camp.

It’s important to manage expectations with players this young but I struggle to remember a bigger prospect at his age. Ridiculous talent.

Max Dowman’s ability to receive on the half turn, understand his surroundings, and glide past defenders in midfield is so unique at his age. Simply a level above the rest, even though he’s playing multiple age groups older than him.
