Free to air today in The Journal of Pain Emma Fisher Christopher Eccleston and Sebastian Straube. We found 15 of 16 RCTs of CBD for pain found no effect at all. Another good RCT in The Lancet since reported no effects. Consumers are being conned by expensive, harmful, quack remedies.

Most (85%) meta-analyses were strongly impacted by the inclusion of these trials. These impacts included a (median) 58% increase in the pooled effect (of CBT). 9/10 reviews without meta-analyses drew positive conclusions for CBT with few commenting on their unusual effects. 3/7
