After a brief rise in 2022, inflation-adjusted Lithium-ion battery prices are falling again, according to the latest battery analysis from BloombergNEF led by Evelina Stoikou. Pack costs fell 14% this year (largest annual decline since 2018) to $139/kWh. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Enough battery manufacturing in USA is already on the way (see below) to supply batteries for about '8-10 million EVs/year, or ~ half to two-thirds of all US light vehicle sales (~15m/y),' according to Jesse D. Jenkins. As Evelina Stoikou notes IRA will lead to even more!
