Great work from a team of volunteers who removed plastic tree guards from trees on our countryside estate. The guards were hindering the growth of the trees so needed removing. All plastic was recycled too! Discover more on tree planting on our website

#Spring has truly sprung when the new DownlandsLivestock fleecy balls of joy are born at Old Lodge Farm in Carshalton.

Lots of healthy, happy lambs have arrived to join our flock.

Old Lodge Farm is owned by Surrey County Council Customer Services and Downlands Partnership's #Grazing team are based there.

As we head into warmer months you may spot more pollinators. One insect to look out for is the Asian hornet. This invasive species poses no risk to humans but is a threat to our native honey bees. A new app allows sightings of Asian hornets to be reported. orlo.uk/s0DGU
