I so wish we'd purge words like 'vulnerable road user' and 'micromobility' - words that evoke a sense of weakness and powerlessness - from our discussions of transportation. If we are going to qualify, let's quality the true problems. Deadly street design, oversized vehicles etc.

Another lenient sentence for road violence. There should be far greater deterrents to getting in a 2 tonne metal box & driving more than 3 times the speed limit, which is arguably already unsuitable given the residential area.

Road pricing is the proposed replacement of current taxes and tolls with a simple per-mile price to drive. Road pricing is fairer because the less you drive, the less you pay. If you don’t drive at all you don’t pay anything.
