We've just left the lovely Dounans to head home. What a brilliant 3 days we've had. Can't wait for the concert!

We've had a brilliant day at senior music camp. Lots of music as well as a trip to the local store for snacks. It's games night tonight and everyone is gearing up for the winning prize. Let the games begin...

Day 2; the weather is a bit kinder today. We’ve been having full orchestra and sectional rehearsals, guitar ensemble rehearsals, and we are now working in our elective groups doing some song writing or vocal ensemble.

Well that's day one completed for our music residential completed. Everyone has had a great time and looking forward to tomorrow.

If your child is going it would be a very good idea to pack/wear boots or wellies as the weather forecast is for lots of rain so it will be muddy. Some trainers for wearing indoors only would be good.

Amazing experience for F who took part in the National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra through the summer.

We said thank you & good luck for the next chapter to three of our fabulous instructors yesterday. Mr Arkinson & Mr Stherland have retired after many years of amazing service and Mrs Young is taking a well deserved break with her family. You will all be missed! Thank you!!!

We would like to wish our amazing double bass instructor Mr Paul Sutherland a happy retirement! Today is Paul's last day in Falkirk after nearly 20 years! Thank you Paul for all you hard work, dedication and support, Falkirk has been so lucky to have you!

What a fabulous concert yesterday afternoon at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall celebrating the year long ‘Young Creatives Project’ alongside the RSNO. These musicians represented Falkirk IMS so well and should be so proud of everything they have achieved on their instruments.
