Christian Eduardo James (17) had autism and was widely regarded as a role model for the other kids at his school, IDEA School at Walzen. He enjoyed tablet time, especially to watch Spongebob, Scooby Doo, and Loud House.

Dewey Bumpass (62) passed away in a car crash on 4/2/2024 in Alamance County, NC. Bumpass loved cars, cooking, fishing, and cookouts.

Jada Cousins (17) was 1 of 2 killed on the way to school when an 18-wheeler collided with her vehicle on 3/8/2024 in Charlotte, NC. The other person killed was her friend, Kaia Hodge. Cousins' 18th birthday would've been 12 days later on the 20th.
