It was fun to have an amazing session in beautiful Hawaii! Thank you for the session speakers Flo Chardon, Francis McMahon, Jason Stein and our mighty chair Alexander Arguello!
CRISPRa-QTL screen targeting reg elements for cell-specific (and disease relevant) gene expression tuning. Congrats Flo Chardon and Troy McDiarmid on the awesome project!
Exciting day for the #BergerLab at #AACR24 ! First up it’s my talk in Ballroom 6C. I’ll be presenting our work with Flo Chardon Lea Starita Jay Shendure on discovery of EGFR inhibitor resistance mutations using multiplexed prime editing.
Congratulations, Flo Chardon! It’s been amazing to watch this technology develop over the past few years under skilled and persistent hands. I couldn’t be more proud, and I’m excited to see where it goes!
Bittersweet as my collaborator and dear friend Flo Chardon has defended her dissertation and will be moving on to her next adventure (after biking up and down a ridiculous # of mountains at even more ridiculous speeds).
Congrats on the very, very well earned PhD Dr. Chardon!!!
Please check out Flo Chardon’s excellent tweetorial of our latest work on Prime-SGE. By devising a positive selection scheme, she overcame a low editing rate to perform a pooled prime editing screen to identify mutations in multiple genes for resistance to EGFR inhibitors.
Our latest from the incredible Flo Chardon and Troy McDiarmid , in collaboration with Nadav Ahituv lab and others. Terrific thread on paper below!
