Sundays bee walk with Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park has been cancelled. Unlike the June and July walks which are well subscribed in advance we had no bookings. The date clashes with London Marathon and local road closures.

We’re NOT accepting Xmas trees. LBTH have arrangements for collecting Trees. You can recycle your real Xmas tree from 8 - 19 Jan. If you get a food & garden collection, take off decs & leave your tree out. You can also take your tree to the Recycling Centre on Yabsley Street.

🥳🏆🥇🥰 On Wednesday, last week we were recognised at the annual Tower Hamlets in Bloom Awards, held at the Art Pavilion in Mile End Park. We were recognised for our special contribution to the Borough's entries into London and Britain in Bloom.

On Dec 7th we welcomed a small delegation from the Queen Victoria Seaman's Rest for a ceremony at the grave of the Revd David Roe as part of their 180th anniversary. David was the 1st Superintendent of the Mission from 1898 - 1919, his grave is on the north eastern side of THCP.

We supplied Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park with wildflower plug plants and helped plant them at Prospect Park to connect habitats in Tower Hamlets. Nectar and foodplants will support Small Copper (Common Sorrel) and Common Blue (Birds-foot Trefoil) butterflies.
