This year's 'Gabelli's Got Talent' competition, featured singing, dancing, comedy, and magic performances. Congratulations to Nida Ahmad who won the competition, and to India Sahai who was the runner up. It was a spectacular event and a fun evening for all!

Recently, a team of volunteers from Fordham University Gabelli School of Business spent time at POTS in the Bronx, where they bonded as they made & packaged meals for those who require assistance. Part of the 'Community at Gabelli' initiative, these opportunities build community at the Gabelli School and beyond.

Recently, Fordham University Gabelli School of Business 2nd year, Full-time M.B.A. students attended a retreat in the Catskill Mountains, where they had the opportunity to learn about managing teams and organizational change, and to relax before heading off to new opportunities after graduation!

Members of Fordham’s Fordham University Gabelli School of Business EMBA Class of '24 are in Seoul, Korea this week for their final residential. They've visited cultural sites; Sogang University, the Jesuit University of South Korea; and corporate site visits and student consulting presentations also are underway.

.Fordham University Gabelli School of Business students visited U.N. headquarters, toured the NYSE, & heard from global business leaders as part of the activities for Business Week: The Jesuit Perspective. They learned about issues regarding climate change & what businesses can do to address this problem.

On 4/17, Mark Conrad, J.D., prof. of law and ethics & dir. of the Sports Business Concentration Fordham University Gabelli School of Business, will speak Harvard Law School on his forthcoming article regarding online sports betting & regulation to address the platforms' growing issues in promoting gambling addiction.

The GSB Center for Digital Transformation (CDT) held its 11th Annual Deloitte March Data Crunch Madness on April 5. First prize went to Predictive Gamemakers. As usual, it was an amazing competition that provided students with the chance to show off their analytics skills.

On 4/4, the Fordham Quant Finance Society hosted QuantVision 2024, the Gabelli School’s Quantitative Conference, which attracted hundreds of attendees & was sponsored by some of the top names in the industry. Panelists included experts who shared their knowledge & insights.

On 4/3, students in the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business Integrated Learning Community for Global Business, toured the NYSE 🏛 w/Jay Woods FCRH’82, chief global strategist Freedom Capital & NYSE executive floor governor. They learned about the history of the NYSE and witnessed the closing bell.

Congrats to Grace Maietta, a marketing major with a concentration in strategic branding; & Alina Furman, a global business major with a concentration in global finance & business economics, who were both named to Poets & Quants for Undergrads Best & Brightest Class of 2024!

A group of Fordham University Gabelli School of Business Professional M.B.A. students spent their spring break in Berlin as part of their Global Immersion Program. They took in many cultural sites and visited a wide range of companies to learn about Germany's economy.

Full-time M.B.A. students Fordham University Gabelli School of Business are spending spring break on a global immersion trip to Chile led by Professor Alex Markle, Ph.D., program director; and Linda Agnew, program manager. They have visited Nike & Goodyear, and are learning all about the Chilean economy.

Sophomores in the Gabelli Honors Program are spending spring break in London. The trip is being led by Assistant Dean, Bob Daly, & the students are off to a busy start – from attending events FordhamLondon to a tour of Stamford Bridge (stadium), home to Chelsea FC!

During a weeklong, spring break global immersion to Rwanda led by Dennis Hanno, Ph.D., associate clinical professor, Leading People and Organizations, students are meeting with entrepreneurs and helping them to solve challenges they are facing as they launch their businesses.
