Camp Leaders and Community Health Workers in camps need to be aware of the importance of #HealthSafety and #WaterTreatment in the prevention of communicable diseases especially at times of flooding where water gets contaminated.

Yesterday, the ActionAid Tanzania team organized a workshop on #HealthSafety and #WaterTreatment for community health workers in Kitumbini camp in Kibiti District to support those affected by floods.

The main goal was the preparedness to contain any possible outbreak of waterborne diseases like Cholera in the camp is surrounded by contaminated flooding water.
