COLLECTIVE BARGAINING NOW

Today, ZINASU is joining workers in celebrating International Workers Day. The right to strike is foreign to Wokers because of the level of systematic suppression in Zimbabwe. This must come to an end. We as students are nothing without Wokers!

Scenes at inaugural FOZEU_Teachers May Day Commemorations. The biggest demand is the reform of labour law governing Civil service. We demand right to Collective Bargaining, Right to Strike, Right to a fair wage. We are geared to escalate the fight as Schools open. Tawanda Benjamin Watadza

Workers Day in Zimbabwe

All workers in Zimbabwe have been turned into slaves by the Dictatorship of ZANU PF

The level of suffering & oppression is unbearable for many

Workers expect their leaders to proclaim workers’ resistance to DICTATORSHIP

No more time to mourn

Workers carry the burden of economic mismanagement. They produce wealth that is being plundered by the elites. On May Day we seek to revive the fight back spirit among the workers. The dictatorship in Harare will be confronted by an agitated organised mass of the working people.

The time to act is iminent, students should not be excluded by choice, in a democratic society with founding values and principles premised on accountability and responsiveness the ministry cannot afford to be silent! Truely you cannot poke the lion's mane with a finger, 3 days‼️

🚨It's now Four days to go, still waiting for Ministry of Higher & Tertiary Education ZW to respond, the defiant students' voice will continue to be amplified, the ministry cannot squelch on students' demands.

5.Section 7.0 of the Permanent Secretary's circular violates s 75 of the constitution. Burden to fund the curriculum is placed on the shoulders of the community yet government is constitutionally obliged to fund basic education. Marginalized communities will be the worst affected

4. Software engineering is classified as a commercial subject at A level & Accounting not taught at A level. Agriculture & other key subjects are excluded at form 1 to 4. This shows that the structure was hurriedly done by people whose children are exempt from this Curriculum.

3. The curriculum is perfectly designed to create human machines with no ability to challenge authority. Just like the Rhodesia curriculum products will be ready to be exploited by capital without questioning. We urge parents to encourage learners to elect History & Literature.

1. The heritage based curriculum officialises distortion of history.Heritage studies is now a compulsory subject & History an elective. Heritage studies is more like a Manifesto for ruling ZANU PF the role of ZAPU🇿🇼 during the liberation struggle is trivialised.
