Colby Brouillette recalls the moment his late manager Pete Wilk called him to ask how his visit to Central Connecticut State went while receiving treatment for his cancer.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wilk family. Pete was a true professional and a fierce competitor.

The Westfield Starfires are saddened to learn of the passing of Vermont Lake Monsters head coach Pete Wilk. He was a tremendous baseball mind, but far more importantly dedicated to leading the young men he coached to be great people as well.

Our thoughts go out to the Wilk Family and the Vermont Lake Monsters organization. The league lost a great coach, mentor, and competitor in Pete. We’ll miss seeing him at Holman Stadium.

The #FuturesLeague is saddened to share that Pete Wilk lost his courageous battle with cancer last evening.

Our thoughts are with his family, the Vermont Lake Monsters and all those in the baseball world and beyond who loved Pete. He 'dug in' until the end.

Welcome back to Nashua, Ryan Caulfield! Last season, Caulfield led the Silver Knights in batting average hitting .307 with 25 RBI. He’s doing more of the same this spring batting .358 with 20 RBI and 7 extra base hits for the Cougars!
