Fred Jacob The Green Bag This is great! Early in my time at Crowell and Moring editing a document that Rosemary Collyer and I worked on, I added the periods to NLRB. She told me I was wrong. I told her I was right according to the Bluebook. Her reply: 'do you want to be a labor lawyer? Do it this way!'
My new essay, Even the Federal Government Can't Beat the Bluebook, is forthcoming (very soon!) in The Green Bag. Dare to read how the NLRB tried to take on the Bluebook and lost--but then maybe won? #newlawreviewarticles

Learned something interesting in Tessa Dysart's The Green Bag piece on Roman numerals for front matter in briefs: Some state courts have prohibited their use!

Beau J. Baumann There’s a good piece in The Green Bag Summer 2023 that I thought answered some of the court’s questions better than the advocates, about how courts can assume—and congress can reassign to the executive—the ability to resolve genuine ambiguity just like w/ other common-law powers

'The Musgrave Ritual' (I'm a sucker for a treasure hunt with a dash of history.)

There are people who do it for the love of it, and also love to nerd out together. See, e.g. The Green Bag The Green Bag , which is near and dear to my heart.
But there are different tradeoffs when you're a student.
