There will be a last resolution in the European Parliament on Hungary & the Article 7 procedure.

This resolution is very much needed, especially with the unacceptable, upcoming Hungarian presidency.

After five years of hard work, we need to leave this lasting legacy.

The Asylum Pact was a chance to fix a broken system. Although it promotes resettlement and increases solidarity, it falls short. It erodes the rights of asylum seekers and allows for locking up children. We are far from fixing the asylum system. Let’s work until we get it right.

🚨 BREAKING: EP adopted the Asylum and Migration Pact. The Pact was our chance to fix a broken system of unequal responsibilities, fundamental rights violations & impunity. We fought for fair responsibility sharing, humane procedures, upholding of rights & an end to pushbacks.

MEP Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield of the Greens/EFA in the EU Parliament 🌍 shares her path into politics, supported by parity and quotas that enabled women participation. Besides quotas, training and support especially for young women of colour are very important to ensure policies are made for everyone.
