Saw some great foundational skills lessons Golden Meadows ES in kinder and 1st grade! Identifying the position of /sh/ in a word, spelling words with past tense (is the consonant voiced or unvoiced??) and listening and speaking about a read aloud. LiteracyGISD Teaching & Learning Development

I ❤️ the challenge of spicing up lessons in our curric to make them more engaging w/o compromising rigor or student expectations. When debriefing, the teachers shared lots they got out of it & I can't wait to see how these talented teachers turn it around in their own lessons.

When you get to model a 4th grade poetry lesson and it is about baseball, you come prepared! Jersey, hat, bat, ball, field- got it covered! Thanks for having me Caldwell Elementary!
