In appreciation for all that EMS do in our community, we'll illuminate blue, yellow and white tonight.

Work will begin on a new pedestrian/bicycle bridge on Route 9 in Tarrytown (Westchester County) after Memorial Day. NYSDOT is a partner on this project, which extends the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge side path a mile south and includes many other improvements.

Flags on state buildings are at half-staff in honor of our brother, Thruway Authority employee Vincent “Vinny” Giammarva. Vinny, a Construction Equipment Operator Heavy in the Henrietta Maintenance Section, was fatally injured in a work zone last week.
