Congratulations to Dr. Alexis Bender, Associate Professor, Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology, Emory University School of Medicine! Dr. Bender was awarded our 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award.

We are thrilled to share that Elizabeth Head, Deputy Directory, Injury Prevention Program, Georgia Department of Public Health was awarded the 2024 Distinguished Service Award from the Gerontology Institute.

Dr. Morgan was invited to give testimony at Capitol Hill today to the Senate Committee on Aging. What an honor to hear care partner stories and educate the policymakers and public on challenges and ways to empower residents, care partners and direct care workers!
