Gather European Golf Design Toro GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf '46% of golfers agreed they try to only buy from companies who are socially+environmentally responsible, compared to 40% of the national avg'
Insignificant stats taken from Yougov polls where people present their idealized self isn't a +'ve sign. Referenced study also worthless

Here’s a Masters-themed data nugget courtesy of our data partner YouGov Sport?

In our golf bubble, we assume everyone knows about The Masters. 36% of the national population isn’t aware of the tournament. Surprisingly, 22% of golfers are also unaware!

Gather As we are creating Golf Lite, we think golf ranges are the best place to start. They are the ideal bridge from Entertainment Golf to Traditional Golf. Less occasion, less formal, less expensive. More fun.

Many say The Masters 'doesn't really start until the back 9 on Sunday'. Well here we are and we’ve got some data, courtesy of YouGov Sport that says 68% of the general population isn’t interested in the Masters.

As an industry, what can golf do to pull them in?

Gather ACCIONA Open de España presented by Madrid seems to take this seriously, with some quote exhaustive materials on the measures taken:

I'll be on-site this week so can provide some more feedback and insights if that's of interest.

Gather When asking 'how do we grow the game?' no one listens to the answers that don't drive people to membership and 18 hole golf. That needs to change. It's blind self preservation.

Gather Yes and yes. Indoor golf is a whole new market: some people only play indoors like many golfers in South Korea, but indoor can also onboard new futureoutdoor players with less barriers (more inclusive, laid-back, social, beginner friendly, more affordable...).
