Same here also, desperate to get things done and back in shape but every time we make a gain the weather fights back. Winter projects sitting wet still,and unable to get them in play. Worst iv known it. Still has to be some sunshine soon!…… I hope 🤞🏻

plenty going on this week, a little spray going out post renovations with the morning sun showing off the fairway shaping….fairways and rough giving off a US open vibe at the minute 👀

Patio landscaping now complete. Sets off the patio nicely! 750m2 of turf laid down, 120 tonnes rootzone , 80 tonnes clay infill, 200m drainage, 20 tonnes stone! Now time to settle then we can mow in some shapes 👌🏻

Well that was a shift, and a great effort from all the guys. 14 hours to verti drain all greens and aprons, top dress, solid tine and brush! Have to make hay while the sun shines and while it’s dry! #Golf #Greenkeeping

It’s been a long time coming but spring has arrived officially.

With the great work the greenkeepers have put in during the winter months, this pays dividends going forwards.

Today we say goodbye to Ben. Started as a rookie apprentice and now he’s off to the Emerald Isle to take up a position at Adare Manor. You have come a long way Ben and you will be missed. Well done on all you achieved, you should be proud. Best of luck from all the boys. 💪🏻

Good progress today on project patio despite the weather trying its best to thwart us! Shaping coming along and drainage now going in , Ventrac earning its keep again. Finish the drains tomorrow then topsoil and final shaping ready for turf! #Golf #Greenkeeping

Project patio landscape is underway! Making the new patio integrate with the area to the right of the 18th green. Taking the opportunity to stick some drainage in as well as provide some infrastructure for future drainage. Busy week ahead! Was nice to see some sun and for once it…

Well that’s just not very helpful at all 🤦🏻‍♂️ what’s more annoying is that I know full well come July/ August we will be crying out for it and radars like this will be most welcome as we run for the sprayer and wetting agent!
