pointer for people new to protest: cops hate being surrounded.

if they set up a riot line and you can get enough people behind their line, the cops will leave.

The reason why you don’t see police at a white supremacist rally is the same reason you don’t see Clark Kent and Superman in the same place.

Cornell has announced that they will NOT evict suspended students from on-campus housing or bar us from dining halls. Make no mistake — this shift the result of intense pressure from students, the public, and in particular faculty.

Today, Councilmember Nicolas O'Rourke and I announced a City Council hearing on urban agriculture! Urban agriculture is food justice and racial justice. About 70% of active farms and gardens in our city are in high-poverty neighborhoods where a majority of residents are people of color.

Suspensions prohibit students from attending events or getting into campus spaces, dining halls, classrooms & libraries. It’s not clear how long those prohibitions will last.“It makes me feel like more of a criminal than I think that I am” Ms. Hirsi said. nytimes.com/2024/04/20/nyr…

Columbia administration is issuing new waves of suspensions to anyone that attempts to pick up their confiscated belongings. Many students including myself have laptops, medication, devices, and much more among these belongings. This is getting cartoonishly evil.

Giving us 15 minutes to pack up and leave from our housing is seriously twisted. I am not surprised at all — I am glad administration is finally showing their face to the general student body, because student organizers have known from the start how evil these administrators are.

The The New York Times had no qualms about naming the “deep roots” of Russian atrocities in Ukraine, highlighting Russia’s “military culture of violence” and “propaganda.”

Meanwhile, The Times continues to frame the IDF’s well-documented war crimes as “tragic” “mistakes.”

Like World Central Kitchen, the heroic Palestine Red Crescent first responders who went to rescue 6-year-old Hind Rajab also received clearance from the Israeli military to get her. They were killed by the Israeli military anyway and so was 6 year old Hind.
