This week it was the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak. He was the founder of the Sikh faith and the first of ten Gurus in Sikhism. He is revered by non-Sikhs as well for his teachings of equality and unity.

Recently parts of the UK have seen flooding. In one such area GuruNanaks 3 kitchen, a langar seva (free communal kitchen selfless service) charity ensured those stuck have access to meals. We connected them with BBC Yorkshire to highlight this service available to all. See vid below.
