In 2023 Glitch published the Digital Misogynoir report which provides an indepth breakdown about the horrible fact that Black women receive disproportionate amounts of online abuse across several social media forums. Something needs to be done.

In 2015(!) I wrote about misogynoir, quoting Maya Goodfellow on the abuse Diane Abbot had been receiving at the time: ā€œa black woman who challenges the status quo and wonā€™t apologise for doing so will always be judged unfairly.ā€
