Today we’re celebrating International Women’s Day. On Saturday a few of our girls attended the International Women’s convention at Scottish Parliament. They listened to inspirational stories from fellow women, and Marwa asked a question to the panel. It was a very empowering day!

What an afternoon with the S1 IDL bunch! We tackled some heavy topics surrounding democracy vs dictatorship, socialism vs capitalism and left and right wing political ideologies! We have started studying Pinochet and the power of protest and referendum ! 🇨🇱 Govan High School

💌Valentines Song Scan 💌 Love was definitely in the air this afternoon! Pupils chose some song they loved or wanted to gift to someone they love ! We printed out QR codes and decorated our love hearts ! Govan High School

Well done to this young person who has faced a very challenging time recently but has shown real determination and perseverance. Lovely to see him receive recognition from Rangers Charity Foundation with a signed photograph, a tour and two tickets for a Rangers game.
