Somali Health Minister Dr Ali Hajiadam Abubakar concluded the highly successful #SHSCM today. Grateful for the active participation of stakeholders and partners, the event provided invaluable insights and sparked meaningful discussions on our healthcare journey.

Today, I kicked off 2 days Health Sector Coordination meeting where all stakeholders are gathered to discuss pressing issues & prioraties on Health sector of 🇸🇴, I also had side meeting on members of Somali Health Donor group #SHDG to discuss on alignment and coordination of HSC.

I am pleased to join with HE Minister of Ministry of Health- Somalia & UK in Somalia🇬🇧🇸🇴 Ambassador to Launch BETTER LIVES Health Project in Somalia, this project aimed to provide basic Health services close to 1.5m people In Somalia & build sustainable health systems to covered districts in Somalia

I had the pleasure to attend convening of the Africa CDC Eastern RCC 5th Regional Technical Advisory Committee (ReTAC) meeting in Nairobi, It was emphasized the need for regional members to embrace innovation & collaboration in addressing health security challenges in the region.

Today i had met & had productive discussion with Luc Laviolette, Head of The GFF
accompanied by GFF Country team, we had emphasized our discussion on expanding GFF support on Health service coverage, System building & Aligning on Somalia's Health sector investment on Global level

It was pleasure to meet with Petra Vergeer, Portfolio Manager, Peter Hansen, CLP Lead & Tawab Hashemi, Senior Health Specialist on The GFF where we had discussed on country engagement and system strengthening efforts, Health Financing & Alignment initiatives on 🇲🇵 Health sector.
