- Failure to deliver complex services with appropriate oversight
- Lack of transparency, with Boards suppressing information
- Leadership teams disconnected from the membership
- Organisation serving its own purposes and not those of the membership

The RACP continues to be so dysfunctional that the new CEO resigned within 3 months of taking up post.

You might argue that the problems of the RACP (crap exams and electoral fraud) are not those of the RCP. But the root causes are pretty similar.

Yet, a PA or an ANP have been trained.
Not a trainee .. but an SAS doctor.

How can one explain that?

How has a single college (RCP) managed to foist PAs across all specialities affecting the training of Doctors in those specialities without discussion?
Collusion? College apathy? Bribery?
If RCP want PAs - let them but all other specialities (inc GP) should be saying no thanks.

My opinion is
If you are a doctor, you should not be reviewing, ordering investigations, or prescribing for PAs unless you are the named supervisor for a PA.
