The Mayor opened the 'Women in Railway' exhibition at the Bluebell Railway Museum. She said what a wonderful thing it was that a man had taken the initiative to bring to light the women’s contribution & only by working together can we change mentalities. #WomenEmpowerment

The Mayor was delighted to join the Haywards Heath Lions International at their Swimarathon as they raised almost £20,000 for local charities! 'I am in awe of this Lions event, overwhelmed by the generosity of the donors, & so grateful for all the wonderful people who participated .' 👏

The Mayor had the joyeous honour of presenting a beautiful oil painting of the South Downs to Ashenground Community Centre on behalf of Mid Sussex Older People's Council (MSOPC) at a free afternoon tea for older people to combat lonlieness. Fantastic community spirit!

A beautiful & poignant service for #HolocaustMemorialDay was held in Haywards Heath by Amnesty UK & Haywards Heath Town Council. The service was attended by the Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex, the Mayor & Deputy Mayor, chair of Mid Sussex District Council, residents & students from Oathall News.
