It's very important that we support children visiting their loved one in prison to maintain and strengthen family bonds.

With Pact, we’ve introduced Wilbur, our Worry Monster, where children can write out their worries and feed it to the monster to reduce emotions.

#NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek continues at Featherstone with Alison O’Grady from Novus holding an awareness session for our staff on ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia. Alison shared important information about the common challenges, strategies and support available.

We're celebrating #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek by raising awareness with our staff and prisoners. We've launched competitions and creative writing exercises to help build new skills whilst sharing information about neurodiversity and produced a pocket guide to promote support.

We've introduced 2 neurodiversity boxes, in our visitors centre, full of sensory products like ear defenders, fidget toys and lanyards to help our staff to identify and support young people with additional needs through the search procedures and into the visits hall.

.pact's William the Bear is excited for a Halloween-themed Family Visits Day with support from @Staffslibraries & BookTrust providing a donation of books for each child attending.

These visits are crucial to support family ties which plays a huge role in reducing reoffending.

We are pleased to announce that we now have an online portal where any friends and loved ones of our prisoners can go if they wish to raise a concern for anyone in our custody. Our Safer Custody line is still available but we also have a digital option Pact

Today William welcomed 37 visitors into our Superheroes themed family visits for a fun filled day enhancing family relationships. We had super hero themed crafts and a superb day was had by all Pact
