❓What is ‘ROTL’?

Release on Temporary Licence (ROTL) provides opportunities for eligible, risk-assessed prisoners to work on temporary release.

It prepares them for resettlement whilst in prison and plays an important part in improving their employability prospects. (1/2)

Becky, Prison Employment Lead at HMP Hatfield Official, was instrumental to securing 8 ROTL placements and 3 jobs on release within the construction sector and creating lasting links with employers.

Our local Independent Monitoring Boards have published their latest report on HMP Hatfield. The report highlights again how safe our establishment is!
