HMS CERES recently celebrated our annual Christmas Carol service at All Souls Church. We were honoured to have The Bishop of Beverley, The Rt Rev Stephen Race, officiate. The event was attended by members of HMS CERES past and present, along with families, friends, & supporters.

Congratulations to Lord Mayor of Leeds 2023-24, Cllr Al Garthwaite & Leeds Council News for re-signing the Armed Forces Covenant! Our CO, Cdr David Noakes, RD, RNR, had the privilege of countersigning the Covenant on behalf of the Defence Community and Royal Naval Reserve.

As Yorkshire's Royal Naval Reserve Unit HMS CERES is often tasked with representing the Royal Navy at events throughout Yorkshire. Our CO, Cdr David Noakes RD, RNR, recently represented the RN at a 21 Gun Royal Salute at York's Museum Gardens to celebrate HM The King’s 75th Birthday.

Well done to Leeds City Council on being awarded a Gold Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Award! The scheme recognises employer support to veterans, Reserve Forces, and Cadets. The award was presented by Vice Admiral Phil Hally and jo ropner. Leeds Council News, Lord Mayor of Leeds 2023-24, Cllr Al Garthwaite.

Members of the Royal Naval Reserve have many opportunities to take part in ceremonial events, from the Coronation to the Platinum Jubilee. Here HMS CERES' AB David Sinclair had the honour of being a member of the guard in the recent CMR supersession ceremony on board HMS VICTORY.
