HMS Pursuer is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Commanding Officer, Cdr Robert Hawkins MBE. Cdr Bob, was CO in 2011/12 & had always been an excellent mentor to all P2000 CO’s who followed on from him. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

After a busy two weeks, it’s time for Pursuer to get some beauty sleep. Every P2000 gets an annual maintenance package in a UK boatyard. This year, we are first! This allows us to conduct deep maintenance following a maiden deployment to the Arctic Circle, and prep for future Ops

Pursuer is back on Operations! Today we practiced coming to a Buoy and shortly after were treated to a fly past from RNAS Culdrose 814 Sqn. We will continue to operate on the South Coast ahead of Britannia Royal Naval College open day on Saturday, make sure you’ve got tickets!

Goodbye HMS Explorer 👋 Ships Company have now handed Explorer back to her rightful owners while alongside in Germany 🇩🇪 Pursuer are on their way back to the UK ahead of a busy summer programme.

Wildcat fliers from 815 Naval Air Squadron honed tactics with their new anti-ship missiles in a new The Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) exercise (Tamber Shield) off Bergen against fast-attack craft from Norwegian Armed Forces | Forsvaret and P2000s HMS Archer and HMS Pursuer.

The Atlantic coastline of Bergen proved a fitting backdrop for Ex #TamberShield . The Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) continuing to work together, 815 Naval Air Squadron Sjøforsvaret HMS Pursuer HMS Archer demonstrated capability and unity in the air and on the surface.
