On Diane Abbott’s comments, Luciana Berger told me earlier on LBC: “I was shocked and I was appalled to read those comments…It’s extraordinary that an MP who has served since 1987 and who represents a constituency that’s home to many British Jews would say something like that.”

Something people often forget, when they diminish antisemitism, is that visibly orthodox Jews are regularly abused and demeaned because of their appearance. Often in Hackney, which is Diane Abbott's constituency.
