So STAAR review began last week and I love small group activities. Small groups allow me to reteach small groups during the activity that need it. Allows my students that do not need it to continue with other activities. Small groups are my favorite review! Hallsville Junior High School

My students had a jury experience today as an anticipation guide to next week’s reading of Twelve Angry Men! Students had to unanimously reach a verdict with their jury or declare a mistrial using evidence from the text in their arguments. I loved today!

College was once seen as steak while Career and Technical Education was seen as hamburger. Today, college is still steak, but CTE has become lobster. In the ideal K-12 school setting, all students would be engaged in high quality ‘Surf N’ Turf.”
