While I appreciate business decisions, there must be mechanisms to protect communities losing local banking.

Most rural areas don't have choice of where to bank,so losing the only branch in New Deer will be difficult for many.

⤵️My comments on RBS closing their New Deer branch.

RBS’s decision to close its New Deer branch is v.disappointing.

Rural residents (esp the elderly,farmers etc) disproportionately rely on local banking,with access to alternatives often unviable.

I’ll be writing to RBS expressing my concern & asking for clarity on this decision.

Residents want their MP to focus on local issues & that’s what I am determined to do.

⏰Cancer doesn’t wait.

Yet, recent stats show only 54% of NHS Grampian cancer patients were seen within the 2 month target.

These waits are shocking & only add to patients’ distress when diagnosed with cancer.

The SNP Gov must act urgently to address these unacceptable delays.
