Today we remember Harry Leslie Smith 'The World's Oldest Rebel' who was born 100 years ago today in Barnsley
A survivor of the Great Depression, a WW2 RAF veteran & an activist. After retirement he became an author & continued to campaign for social justice John Smith (son of Harry Leslie Smith)
#StandWithUkraine 12 months since Russia launched a full-scale invasion on Ukraine. We were hoping that we wouldn't still need to share this poem by Ian McMillan but sadly the sentiments in it still ring true
