I’m excited to announce that my ekphrastic poems on Glenn Edwards’s photography of the African diaspora will be exhibited alongside his works at an upcoming exhibition: Home in another land, at the NewportMuseum from June to September 2024.

The book launch of my second short story collection, Behind the Facade and Other Stories went well. Thanks to family, friends, colleagues and work mates who attended. It was great fun.

Every year, on April 25, I meditate on this life-changing events that occurred on this day many moons ago.

Here's me telling that story for a storytellers' event in Lansing a few years ago. The theme was 'Second Chances.'
