Really positive contribution to the debate this - I particularly welcome the idea that government should have a long term strategy for housing. Which sounds obvious but has been sadly lacking for too long.

As each year passes, we get further away from having the number of homes needed in England. And we increasingly rely on ageing houses.

But we can reverse that and build quality, safe, affordable #HomesForAll .

Everyone should have a home that is comfortable and safe, in a thriving community where they can flourish. But home means something very different for many people in England.

We all have a moral responsibility to put the #housingcrisis right. We can agree to a single vision of

Children are sleeping on sofas, in shared housing, hostels, refuges, night shelters, or bed and breakfasts.

They should be in their own bed in their own safe, decent homes.

We must do better. It’s time for #HomesForAll .
