On Saturday evening, one of our very own Acorns performed in the magnificent Opera ‘Madama Butterfly’. She was absolutely fantastic in her role and showed so much courage at just 5 years old. Mrs Thompson and Miss Harrison were blown away by her performance. ⭐️ #FOGEYFS

Congratulations to the team of y10 students who made it to the final 10 of the national Design Ventura competition. They attended a ceremony at the Design Museum and although they didn't win, they received a commendation and were selected for demonstrating the best ingenuity.

Final photos before we headed home from the Peaks! A great weekend all round, with lots learnt by all 👍 very proud of the pupils for all their efforts all weekend and ever so grateful to the staff for giving up their weekend and being top class Vale of York Academy now for rest 💤

Today Acorns and FOG_Conkers created their own nature weaving boards. They had to forage for leaves, sticks and petals and carefully weaved them onto cardboard using elastic bands. The rain definitely didn’t stop our fun 😊 #FOGForestSchool #FOGValues
