Had the recommendations from the Cass Review been implemented when I transitioned, in particular the recommendation of waiting until the age of 25, I would never had transitioned. I grew out of gender dysphoria by the age of 22, but had my genitals amputated by then.

Faux liberals in politics and the media choosing to look the other way - to the point of outright denial - as vulnerable, gender-distressed young people were being preyed upon has been truly wicked #CassReview

Lots of people who in hindsight are realising/acknowledging medicalising young people might be problematic. And those who had the foresight to see all the dangers - for example among medical practitioners - were not listened to, were denounced, ostracised and bullied.
