The GMC is now consulting on how its regulation of PAs and AAs will work.

The consultation is open to members of the public, and we've produced a short guide to be used by clinicians and patients who are keen to provide views.

Yesterday management at Kettering reversed their controversial decision to cut rates for doctors in response to 100 doctors cancelling their shifts.

This was only possible due to the unity of grassroots doctors.

In my experience staff avoid looking at patients on ED trolleys for the same reasons people avoid eye contact with homeless people - because we know it isn't acceptable and feel terrible for them, but we can't help.

It's not because we're just rude dicks who should smile more.
