A substantial discussion took place on how we support new treasurers and with that in mind the group committee to supporting one another as a team in its own right, meeting in person and online via WhatsApp.

The range of topics discussed included Parish Giving Scheme, the treasurer's role description, finance teams, procurement of goods and services, recruitment and succession planning. 2/3

This evening the treasurers serving the churches of Huyton Deanery met together for prayer and discussion. It was a very useful gathering. 1/3

Nominations are being invited from synod members for elections to Huyton Deanery Leadership Team, Pastoral Committee and also for the role of Lay Dean.

The Triangle of Hope youth pilgrimage is about to start and we are looking forward to welcoming pilgrims from Kumasi and Virginia dioceses to Diocese of Liverpool to join with our pilgrims. Please remember them in your prayers as they travel. Bev Mason
