The #Eclipse2024 ended for Ontario at around 4:30 PM EDT. Ontario’s solar generation dropped from about 1,800 MW to about 70 MW as the IESO secured other generation to compensate.
The partial eclipse has started in Niagara Falls where it will reach totality around 3:20 PM. As the eclipse progresses, you can watch the impact on the electricity system at ieso.ca/powerdata. #Eclipse2024
