Karnataka Forest Department is bringing to light the amazing life of frogs by celebrating The Frog Festival on 18th and 19th December. The main aim is to spread awareness about the importance of the frog in maintaining ecological balance.

A very good reference for butterfly phylogeneticists and taxonomists!

This year, I tip my hat especially towards Prof. Milind Watve—my first mentor. Thanks, Watve Sir! Your encouragement and support meant a lot to me when I was trying to find my way.

This will be a great reference for those wishing to teach or learn about mimicry, with lots of examples of mimicry rings from India and other tropical countries.

A worthwhile citizen science effort. Moths of India website has turned into a fantastic resource on moths, spearheaded by Titli Trust and supported by Indian Foundation for Butterflies , National Centre for Biological Sciences and other participating institutions.

Hon’ble Forest Minister Shri Arvind Limbavali, who was also present, said the park with medicinal plants & native species will help promote conservation efforts.

It’s a Karnataka Forest Department initiative, as part of the CMs vision to have 3 such parks in Bengaluru, added PCCF & HoFF Sanjai Mohan. The park is close to the Namma Metro line & ITPL.
