IOM remains committed to supporting critical infrastructure of Mykolaiv. With funding from
Denmark MFA 🇩🇰, IOM has installed a new heating plant that provides heat to 6,000 residents of Mykolaiv.
With financial support of USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance USAID Ukraine and EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 EU in Ukraine, IOM created a recreation space in collective centre for IDPs in Myrnohrad, Donetsk region.

In Ukraine, hospitals close to the frontline are forced to relocate underground to avoid shelling. The humidity in basements can reach levels dangerous for both people and equipment. With funding of Посольство Японії в Україні, IOM provided air dehumidifiers to a hospital in Kherson region.
IOM provided 4 Cogeneration plants to heating companies in Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Ternopil & Mykolaiv. These plants can operate independently of the municipal grid and have the capacity to provide heat to over 160,000 consumers in case of blackout next season.

Olha’s and her mother's business, producing metal press moulds for plastic items like tableware and car bumpers, faced a halt due to lack of equipment. Funded by Bundesentwicklungsministerium through KfW Development Bank, IOM provided a machine, boosting their production and sustaining their business.
“With the new dehydrator, we can handle nearly 80% of the daily sludge waste volume,” says Zenovii Dychok, Lvivvodokanal. Thanks to support from France Diplomacy 🇫🇷🇪🇺, the utility company upgraded to energy efficient equipment, reducing water usage and addressing waste disposal issues.
After a Russian shelling in Hatne, Kyiv region, damaged 41 buildings and destroyed 4, IOM, funded by USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, provided affected families with essentials like blankets, mattresses, thermoses, chairs, solar lamps, and kitchen and winterization kits.
