Just a former health secretary openly calling for £20 charges per GP visit & £66 per trip to A&E.

This has always, always been the government’s NHS agenda. Outsource, privatise, make you pay (again).

Anyone seriously believe Sunak doesn’t want the same?

The Conservatives are spending £200m on a Voter ID scheme to make it harder for you to vote. With zero advantages.

It would cost only £250m to give Nurses the 10% pay rise that would end their strike.

But of course that wouldn’t help the Conservatives.

Suella Braverman has no place in UK politics. Her racism, her far right beliefs, they should have no place on the spectrum of British politics. She is a dangerous extremist, she is unchecked in her awful opinions & policies, she is incompetent & a liability. I'm disgusted.

Pls don’t let the govt gaslight you into thinking it’s ‘normal’ for patients to be dying in their droves at home, in ambulances, in corridors, in cupboards. Excess deaths are 26% higher than usual. This isn’t normal, it’s grotesque.

A humanitarian crisis, yet Sunak does nothing.

I can’t help thinking - all this cash being given to private healthcare companies to “help” the NHS - wouldn’t it much, much more efficient to give it directly to… the NHS. Where there are no shareholders taking profits?

Please retweet if you, like me, want to know what exactly Steve Barclay is doing to address the horrific conditions in the NHS currently 🤷‍♀️

Last night I checked into the emergency department at my local hospital*. I saw firsthand what has happened to the NHS. However much you read, it doesn't prepare you for the terrible reality. This thread tells a now-ordinary but - in this rich nation - almost unbelievable story.
