Universities being surprisingly silent (or worse) about the terrorist attack but inviting ex-Israeli professors to give talks (e.g., MIT Brain and Cognitive Sciences). Cool cool cool cool cool.
If Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) does not condemn this, I’m ashamed to be a graduate. I oppose the occupation and its brutality, but this was not “resisting oppressors”. It was an attack by terrorists against citizens, like 9/11 and ISIS attacks in Paris. You can be pro-Palestinian and condemn Hamas.
Excited to share with you a conversation that I had with Justine Boone on his podcast #LivingUntitled , about the relationship between language and thinking in humans and AI. Available on Apple / Google Podcasts and Spotify! livinguntitled.com #UntitledFuture
New update posted to the Chomsky LLM paper. I've added a postscript (starting pg 33) with replies to some critical responses from Rawski & Baumont, Milway, Kodner et al., and Roni Katzir
