Rood, MD, FACP, FACG, AGAF, FASGE Thanks Parakkal Deepak MD, MS, FACG! Imp to say that the RD can individualize the concepts of this handout. The 8g fiber limit is on the most conservative end but many patients w/strictures can handle more fiber dependent on stricture severity & type/texture of fiber consumed.

Rood, MD, FACP, FACG, AGAF, FASGE Patients are living in their bodies and will ultimately know better from experience what level and type of fiber intake is comfortable for them. GI dietitians use shared decision making to help patients w/strictures live their best lives and enjoy foods safely.
